The programme is supported by the University Alliance which is chaired by Professor Debra Humphris, Vice Chancellor of the ͯÑÕÊÓƵ, alongside a number of other university mission groups, MPs and corporations. Professor Debra Humphris said: “This is a valuable initiative and I hope that employers in our region will consider offering these internship opportunities for graduates”.
This initiative builds on the success of the #100BlackInterns programme launched earlier this year, which saw leading players in the investment management industry come together to address the chronic underrepresentation of Black talent in that sector. The latest initiative has expanded across a much wider range of sectors including consumer and retail, education, management consultancy, technology and more.
